Dave Evans received his B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia
in 1966 and his Ph.D. from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College,
University of London in 1971. His early career was occupied in geological,
mining and engineering work with private, public, governmental and
consulting interests across Canada, the United States and internationally.
He is currently a Senior Partner with CSC Project Management Services
in Calgary.
Dave provides advisory and facilitation services for project management
design and education, strategic planning, decision-making workshops,
economic risk analysis and general risk management design &
implementation. He specializes in strategic planning, risk &
decision analysis and risk management applications for construction,
energy and mining projects. This includes environmental assessment
facilitation and conflict resolution on behalf of the broader communities
of interest. He is comfortable in leading facilitated and mediated
processes with Boards, Senior Management, Operations Teams, Government,
First Nations and all manor of stakeholders.
His recent experience includes assignments for or with Governance
review and advisory, Best Practices advisory, Performance Measurement
and monitoring, Project Review and Value Management assessments,
Commercial Conflict Resolutions, Social Risk Assessments, Sustainable
Development Valuation assessments, and Multi-stakeholder Facilitations
for project proponents.
